Anthony, I know you were probably joking about the chocolate eggs, but yes it is still ok to eat the chocolate eggs. Just like christmas, most of the world does not really understand or care about the religious meaning of easter. For most people around the world, christmas is about a fat man in a red suit delivering presents down your chimney, and easter is about a bunny delivering eggs to your house.
