Yet what never ceases to amaze me is that the voices only get louder when these killings take place in the U.S.A. or Europe 
What is tragically sad is that we never hear loud voices when U.S. Russian and NATO planes fire indiscriminate shells into hospitals killing innocent women children and elderly people
Or when barrels of shrapnel are dropped on defenceless civilians killing mainly children in the cities of Syria 
This my brothers and sisters for the life of me never ceases to amaze me
How can God help us when we stand up for the rights of the wicked 
Have we forgotten the lesson of Sodom and Gomorrah 
And the reasons behind it Oblivian 
By the One True God
Which is explained in Genesis 19:1-13

Which is further explained in the commandments of God in

Of which Gods punishment is in

What is sad is those false teachers who claim to worship God have

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? We only have to take a look around us to see the increase of Gods wrath on our world today

Dear Brother Sajih,

Why have you not put any posts here yourself condemning those killings in Syria? Even the title of this post says Orlando Shootings (although you didn't even talk about the Orlando Shooting itself).

It is not our fault that we are reacting to what we see on the news, and what our friends & family are talking to us about.

So please Brother, practice what you are preaching and start posting about other atrocities against innocent people that you know about. We will then react and talk about those as well.

In case you did not realise it, you are clearly excusing some evil people from taking responsibility for their evil acts, by saying that it was God's will. Just because the victims of the Orlando shooting were gay, does not mean that God punished those gay people by organising one man to walk in and shoot them indiscriminately. I think God is a bit more sophisticated than that. For example, God could have created an Earthquake near the gay bar to make sure all the people inside would perish. Seriously, God does not need to enlist the services of a deranged killer with a machine gun.

Sorry if I sound bitter, but I just saw on the news about the truck in France that deliberately ran over people walking on the sidewalk. The last death count was 73. This is more deaths than the Orlando shooting. I suppose we are to believe that God made this maniac plough down those pedestrians because they were sinners. That could easily have been you or I walking on that street while visitng France.

Please Sajih, stop showing veiled support for these murderers and deranged individuals that are heartless and have no regard for human life. Do not put God in their excuses for these evil deeds. It's bad enough that terrorist organisations are openly celebrating these acts and encouraging further acts on the world...please don't add your voice of support along with them.

If God wanted to punish a group of people, he will do so without enlisting the services of cold blooded killers or mentaly unstable individuals.

Also, this would be my last post here. I will join Gareth full time now, as I see he was right all along. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but your veiled acceptance of these killings as being God's will cannot be ignored.

Hi everyone. I was just reading all this stuff here, and was thinking exactly the same thing George. Instead of condemning the evil, Sajih has used it to say they are warnings from God and that it was Gods will or whatever. I too find it hard to believe that God would allow his will to be delivered in such a heartless and cold blooded evil way. Why would the most powerful force in the universe, the one who created the universe itself, be using crazy people to kill sinners on his behalf? He could create a tornado that could wipe out any gay bar or any other building he wanted, and then people can rightly say it was "an act of God". But using terror tactics and giving valuable publicity to terrorist groups does not seem like "an act of God" to me. God would never allow His will to be used by terrorist groups when they take credit for the killings and encourage more killings. No one can take credit for the killings when a tornado or earthquake kills hundreds of people. It seems so obvious to me.

Anyway, this will also be my last post here too. No dis-respect to you Sajih, but I think I have out grown you now, and it is time for me to move on as well. Thank you for showing me the truth, and all the best to you.

Well, I really don't know what to say about this. I was reading that 10 of the dead victims that were run over by the truck in France were children. I wonder if those 10 children were sinners that God put to death? I feel a deep pain for the parents that had to watch their children being run over by a lunatic killer behind the wheel.

I've got my own theory about this. I feel that this was the work of the devil putting fear an uncertainty in our hearts.

These people that are committing these atrocities must not be allowed to use God as their justification for mass murder. Let us call them for what they really are...servants of Satan. May they rot in everlasting pain when they go to Hell.

Yes, Andreas Behring Brievick was a terrorist responsible for the 2011 Norway attacks that killed 77 people. Yes, it was an atrocity and an act of evil. But he did not claim to be doing God's work. He did not yell "God is great" when he blew up and shot all those people. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't think he will be going to heaven to be rewarded with 72 virgins.

The Orlando Shooting and the French truck driver killings, which is what started this conversation here, were both committed by people with links to violent muslim religious groups. These groups use murder and other terror tactics in the name of God. They DO yell "God is great" as they commit their evil murderous acts. And their friends from the violent religious groups cheer and clap and shoot machine guns in the air when they see the news reports on the television.

Sajih, you seem to be upset that we are all feeling sorry only for the people killed by the Orlando Shooting and now this French truck driver killings. Just because we have not spoken out about other killings (like the ones that you mentioned), doesn't mean we don't care about them. Many of us only know what we see on the news and what our friends and family are talking about.

Many of us also understand that our governments (the USA and UK for example), are sometimes involved in illegal or unjust wars. It doesn't mean we agree with them. Also, there is much dis-information out there, that it's sometimes very hard to know what really happened unless you were there. For example, how do we know that a bomber plane had blown up a hospital instead of a known terrorist training camp? What if the training camp was deliberately set up near the hospital in the first place? What if the hospital was really a fake hospital to begin with? There are lies on both sides of a war. A war is fought not just with weapons, but also with propaganda. What better propaganda is there than saying babies and children in a hospital were deliberately bombed in order to garner international sympathy? I'm sure there have been babies and children killed during a bombing in Syria. But to say that they were deliberately targeted is hard to believe and even harder to prove. We simply just don't know who is telling the truth in such events.

What you don't seem to understand is the wording you are using to link these events to God's will. George is correct when he said you are excusing these murderous people for taking responsibility by implying that they are just a tool for God's will. Let's give God a little more credit please. When God wants to wipe out some people, look at his past examples such as Noah's flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the plagues He unleashed, etc. These were clearly the wrath & power of God, and is no doubt "an act of God". Why would God use petty instruments such as evil organisations and insane people to carry out his will? If God were using these people for his will, no one will be able to link these events as God's wrath because there's nothing miraculous about them. You seem to be making this link, so please stop saying this because it disrespects the victims, and also makes us all look bad here as being part of your Church. God can do a lot better than to make some maniac run over people with a truck.

I would personally like to stick around here a bit longer, but it would mean that I also accept that these atrocities are linked to God's will. And I don't make that connection at all. So in this matter, I am not with you, but I am also not against you. In other words, we have 2 different viewpoints about the situation, but we can still remain good friends.

So please just keep away from linking God's will to these terrible tragedies that we know will keep coming in the future. Just condemn the tragedy and say how bad you feel for the victims and their families (like every other normal person feels), and just leave it at that.
