gospel of barnabas is not accurate
I saw the videos on youtube, but I'm still not convinced that this Church has all the right answers.

No disrespect intended, but you guys make a lot of claims that are hard to accept. Your "proof" is also not 100% reliable.

For example, the gospel of barnabas is not a reliable book for the truth. There are many errors in that book, including geographical errors about the locations of known cities and harbours, etc. Some of the places mentioned in that book talks about them being near rivers or harbours that don't actually exist. The description of Palestine for example, shows that the author of the gospel of barnabas was not familiar with its geography. He alleged that Jesus sailed to Nazareth—an inland city with no connecting water entry. There are other such mistakes, made obviously by an author who lacks a proper worldly education for his time.

Also, the gospel of barnabas says that Jesus was born when Pilate was governor, but history records Pilate becoming governor in A.D. 26 or 27—long after Jesus’ birth.

Trustworthy scholars have exposed the Gospel of Barnabas as a counterfeit. Therefore, it cannot be trusted as the biography of Jesus’ life.

This book conveniently supports the greatness of Islam and the prophet Muhammad, but has nothing nice to say about Christianity. To me, this sounds like a Moslem person trying to prove that his religion is the right one, and Christianity is the wrong one.

Sorry if I offended anyone, but I am also looking for the truth, but I don't think I found it here.

A reply by anyone would be appreciated.

RE: gospel of barnabas is not accurate
Thank you Eric for your input I respect your opinion As you have a right to challenge anything you do not understand . In hindsight of what you say if we take out the Gospel of Barnabas and the holy Qoran out of the equasion we still have the damning proof of corruption that is in the bible as clearly shown in the videos and that ironically matches both scriptures such as There is only One God and Jesus is a prophet and clearly not God or Son of God and that he clearly was not crucified.
It is no coincidence my dear brother Eric that the truth which has emerged from our bible matches both books.
If you choose to ignore these scriptures that is clearly your choice but you certainly most certainly cannot ignore the truth
shown in the videos.

RE: gospel of barnabas is not accurate
It is worth noting Eric that over 98 per cent of the evidence which you accuse of being false actually came out of the bible and not out of the Qoran or Gospel of Barnabas . And I hate to disappoint you but I was a former Catholic something that I clearly expressed in the beginning of the presentation . The question that I put to you without any intent to make you feel uncomfortable is

If you do not accept the Gospel of Barnabas NOR THE QORAN NOR THE TRUTH THAT IS IN THE BIBLE; Then what book may I politely ask do you accept?
Plz explain!

RE: gospel of barnabas is not accurate
Hi Eric,

You make some valid points, but I think your judgement of this website is a little harsh.

It seems that every religious document or book in history has been tampered with somehow. Who's to say that those errors you mentioned were not deliberately put in after the original Gospel of Barnabas was written?

Furthermore, your examples are not proof. The fact that Palestine is not connected to any waterway doesn't mean that someone can't sail to Palestine. There were no aeroplanes back then, so it was common to take a boat or ship to travel far away. Maybe Jesus sailed to a port nearby to Palestine, and then rode on camel for the rest of the journey. You or I were not there, so no one can say for sure why Jesus did what he did, or why he traveled a certain way, or where he wanted to visit along his journeys, etc.

But like Sajih said, look at the other evidence he mentions in the 10 videos. If you are indeed looking for the truth, then keep an open mind and stop criticizing petty things.

RE: gospel of barnabas is not accurate
For those that are still in doubt about the Gospel of Barnabas ; and whether or not he was a disciple of Jesus;
you can rest and be assured that he most certainly was; as we will now find out despite the landmines planted in the text.

I am quoting from the New American Bible 1994-1995 Edition

I want you to go to Matthew 8:18-21 and read over and over slowly!

18. When Jesus saw a crowd around him he gave orders to cross to the other side.
Firstly,
when we compare with other bibles we clearly can see (of the lake)
has been omitted.
When we ponder about this sentence we already can see that Jesus was talking directly to his disciples; for they were his trusted inner circle and he took them whenever he went away from the crowds and the threat of the pharisees and Herodians.

19.A scribe approached him and said "Teacher I will follow you wherever you go."
This scribe my brothers and sisters is Blessed Barnabas the author of the Gospel of Barnabas as attested to by the disciples themselves in John 21:24
It is this disciple that attests to these things, AND HAS WRITTEN THEM AND WE KNOW THAT HIS TESTIMONY IS TRUE.

to further support the evidence of Barnabas being a disciple ; look at Matthew 8:21

ANOTHER OF HIS DISCIPLES SAID TO HIM (repeat slowly)

Brothers and sisters this without doubt proves that the previous dialogue with Jesus in verse 19: was clearly from a disciple whom we know is Barnabas and certainly no stranger!

When you go to chapter 14 of Gospel of Barnabas you see the heading After the fast of forty days , Jesus chooses the twelve apostles
and half way through the chapter it reads:

Jesus seeing that great was the multitude of them that returned to their heart to walk in the law of God, went up into the mountain and abode all night in prayer and when day was come he descended from the mountain and chose twelve, whom he called apostles among whom is

Judas who was slain upon the cross.

There names are Andrew and Peter his brother, fisherman

Barnabas, who wrote this, with Matthew the publican who sat at the receipt of custom;

John and James, sons of Zebedee;

Thaddeus and Judas; Bartholomew and Phillip; James and Judas Iscariot the traitor.
To these he always revealed the divine secrets

Note brothers and sisters there is no mention of Thomas who was deliberately planted in the Gospels to hide Barnabas the true apostle!

(worth noting as well where was the so called cunning apostle Paul when the 12 were chosen)

But the Judas Iscariot he made his dispenser of that which was given in alms, but he stole the tenth part of everything.

Note: Luke 6:12-16 is meant to match this original and older text; but we know too well what the devil and his corrupt scribes have omitted and added to deceive the generations into following falsehood.

How Great is Our Lord God who opened up our blind eyes so that we can see and opened up our deaf ears so we can hear; in order to unmask the evil plans of the devil and his followers!

O Lord Our God you are indeed great! To you belongs honor and Glory
Forever and Ever Amen!

RE: gospel of barnabas is not accurate
Hello good people. I was the one that originally posted this thread. At the time, I had not really watched all 10 videos from this church. I now realize that the truth is not found in just one piece of evidence. By the same logic, the truth cannot be denied in one piece of evidence. In this case, I'm talking about the one book that I chose to attack as a forgery, and as a result I just about declared everything here as a lie.

I'm humble enough to admit that I was wrong. Regardless of the shortcomings of one piece of evidence, when I looked at all the evidence that the 10 videos covered, the only conclusion possible is that Sajih was telling the truth. And to this day, he or his church has never asked anybody for money, although I would gladly support this church through a donation, knowing that the people running it are only trying to share the truth and save souls. I kept looking for some hidden agenda here, but found none. I have come to the conclusion that they are definitely not fraudsters. This is the kind of place that can do a lot of good with the right community programs running under their supervision. I for one will be willing to support any endeavor by this church.

May God Strenghten your church.
Amen.

RE: gospel of barnabas is not accurate
My dear brother Eric,
Thank you for your sincere reply. Blessed are you for you have seen the Truth and believed it; and this church is not only our church but yours and everyone that comes to see the light as you have.
Our core mission in this church is to deliver a shock to the world in order to awaken them from the deadly comfortable deep sleep that they have been in for centuries. Money, even though we are seriously short on resources is not our priority at this stage for we do not believe in operating as other churches do. We know and believe that when the timing is right; our Lord God will prepare the way to all of the above you mentioned and beyond.
We believe he is our provider and he will path the way and circumstances with his timing for he is Ever Merciful Ever Compassionate and Ever generous. To us here; no amount of money or gold can substitute the great feeling of satisfaction knowing that people like you have seen the light and believed; our reward is with the Everliving God whom we worship and love with all our hearts, minds and souls!

It is soothing to hear your comforting and supporting words and that is a true sign of your belief in the One True God and Jesus Christ whom he sent. What you can do to support us my dear brother is spread the light to others so they too may save their souls; for that to us;
is priceless!

You are absolutely right in that we have no hidden agendas other than to gather and not scatter as our Master has taught us to do. I pray to our Lord God to continue to bless and protect you with the other members and all those who come into the light of the Truth
Amen!
sajih
