9 “Any vow or obligation taken by a widow or divorced woman will be binding on her.


10 “If a woman living with her husband makes a vow or obligates herself by a pledge under oath 11 and her husband hears about it but says nothing to her and does not forbid her, then all her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand. 12 But if her husband nullifies them when he hears about them, then none of the vows or pledges that came from her lips will stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the LORD will release her. 13 Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow she makes or any sworn pledge to deny herself.[b] 14 But if her husband says nothing to her about it from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or the pledges binding on her. He confirms them by saying nothing to her when he hears about them. 15 If, however, he nullifies them some time after he hears about them, then he must bear the consequences of her wrongdoing.”
16 These are the regulations the LORD gave Moses concerning relationships between a man and his wife, and between a father and his young daughter still living at home.






Deuteronomy 6 (NIV)
Love the LORD Your God



6 These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess,2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORDyour God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3 Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your ancestors, promised you.

The Altar on Mount Ebal

Curses From Mount Ebal

On a lighter note I want to share with you a personal story before I bid you farewell.
It is no coincidence that my work placement is in a predominantly Jewish community.
Over the 5 months I have been working in this area I have grown fond of many Jewish people who are predominantly elderly who cross my path daily.
There is not a day when I do not here someone calling out my name to say hello or even a friendly gesture of recognition from a distance.

What surprises me more is that ………..the only way I can tell they are Hebrew is when they actually tell me ………..for they speak better Arabic to me…… than me




Anyhow unbeknown to me there is a regular customer who comes in to the shopping complex with his two beautiful children to pamper them. I have always admired the way he acts around his kids who are a girl and boy around 4 and 5 yrs old. It is noticeable the way he plays with them . you can tell they are the apple of his eye.

One day I happened to be walking into the complex and he arrived at the same time with his kids. I could not help but compliment him on the way he treated his kids and how it was very obvious he loved them.
He replied to me “Thank God” in Arabic and instantly I asked him where he was from.
He replied to me with a smile “from Lubnan” meaning Lebanon and I smiled with happiness and asked him which part?
And to my pleasant surprise he said, “ Israel”
I laughed out loud and said “Shalom” to him

He replied to me in Arabic smiling, “Ahlan ibn aami” which means welcome son of my uncle (cousin)
My heart grew as big as the universe for I was deeply touched with his words.

I proceeded to ask his name and the name of his beautiful kids
And he told me his girl was Gabriel his boy was Mickael and his name was Raffael.

I looked up to the sky and thanked God for he sent me a sign that Gods angels are with us always Alleluia!

I want you to all know that you are the apple of my eye

And test others like I did to see if they give...True witness...... to the One True God
and declare their belief in the same scriptures

if anyone asks you what is your religion

tell them what I tell everyone who asks me

I am a third..... True Jew

A third........True Nazarene

And a third............... True Muslim


This is how we open others blind eyes to the truth of our wonderful God.
If our Lord God wills it then we will see each other here on earth

If not……we will be together ……………………in eternal paradise .


Job 1:20-21

20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:
