Part 3

In this next section we will expose all the false teachers and prophets who collaborate to introduce the heresies on those poor souls who have been deceived just as we were into believing the blasphemy that Christianity is the religion of Christ their Lord
Watch and see how paul cunningly introduces the evil doctrine of the Pharisees and romans and their heresies
And implements the road plan for his gospel the gospel of the gentiles that is to be proclaimed as a salvation to the world .

“WATCH OUT THAT NOONE DECIEVES YOU.

MANY WILL COME IN MY NAME, CLAIMING I AM HE AND WILL DECIEVE MANY.

They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us, for if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
But you have an anointing from the holy one, and all of you know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar?

It is the man that denies Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist-

False Prophets and Teachers
2 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.




Acts 11:27

About that time some prophets went from Jerasulem to Antioch. One of them named agabus
Acts 13:1
In the church at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers Barnabas Simeon called the black Lucius from Cyrene Mananen who had been brought up with governor herod and saul.

Apart from invisible Barnabas who is framed in the plan of deceit
We find ourselves with a decent group of antichrists as we have just been warned about by Jesus; John and Peter

For starters Simeon the black was the one who helped Judas carry the cross. And Mannaeon was the foster brother of king herrod who only earlier in acts 12:2&3

Had James the original disciple of Jesus put to death by sword which pleased the Jews and then had Peter imprisoned.
That is a bit scary
And what is more scary is in acts 13:2&3 where we supposedly find the holy spirit speaking through these criminals is that it is Maneon the foster brother of the murderer herod

who just had James killed by the sword
who places his hands on the forehead of paul and the invisible Barnabas to supposedly choose them for the mission

And it is these antichrists that are later venerrated as saints by the christian churches



The very churches that falsely preached to our ancestors and continue to preach to us today that the antichrist will not appear till the end of time

How ironic!

In acts 13:7-12
We find more fabricated stories of deceit
but what we find most amusing is in verse 9 where we apparently find the holy spirit ;

Which really is the spirit of the devil
coming down on paul and he looked straight at the magician and said;


You son of a devil you are the enemy of everything that is good.

Now that is a true stament if there is any to be found here
for indeed

Paul was the son of the devil and he is the enemy of everything that is good

As you have already seen and heard and no doubt will continue to see and hear.

Refer to peter 2 2 1-3

Surah 7:16-18
Satan said because you have put me in error I will surely sit in wait for them on your straight path

Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left and you will not find most of them grateful to you

Allah said , Get out of paradise reproached and expelled whoever follows you among them I will surely fill hell with you altogether



In this next section we will discover how Paul cunningly plants the devils seeds of deceit by cunningly attacking Gods law and slowly introducing blasphemies and heresies onto the Christians
Paving the way for a new gospel the gospel of the gentiles


Acts 13:15-16
We have paul surprisingly reading from the law of Moses and from the writings of the prophets

And he gives a speech in which he cunningly says
Fellow Israelites and all Gentiles hear who worship God hear me.

If he had read the writings of the prophets and the law of Moses properly and honestly he would have read Genesis 17:11-14 the covenant God made with Abraham about circumcision especially verse -14

Where God strongly states through Jesus himself as was attested to by the holy spirit back in acts 7:38

Any uncircumcised male who has not been circumscised in the flesh will be cut off from his people he has broken my covenant.

As it stands paul and the Gentiles will be cut off from the people for it is clear they neither of them worship God or believe in his law

And here we have Paul continuing on from his previous trend of deceit by cunningly

blending both the Israelites and gentiles under one; God;

by planting the weed amongst the grain.





And in acts 13; 26
He repeats the same deceit again

So we can clearly see how paul and his antichrist companions are going about planting the seeds of deceit

by turning Jesus into the saviour in acts 13: 27
and spreading the lies that he died not to mention

preaching the blasphemy that Jesus is the son of God and that God is his father.
As we pointed out to you earlier in acts 9:20



And after supposedly quoting the law of Moses only earlier in verse 15 we find paul cunningly attacking the law in acts 13 verses 37-40
And boldly defying Gods law by

saying that by dying Jesus freed people from their sin when the Law of Moses could not.

We can see how these heresies are cunningly .... being introduced.

What is intriguing is the next verse of acts 13;41

In reply to some people that are scoffing at him because they know too well he is lying
Paul replies

Look you scoffers be astonished and die for what I am doing today is something that you will not believe even when someone explains it to you!


What is even more astonishing my brothers and sisters
Is that it is Paul himself

Who tells us from
The text he stole from chap 215 of gospel of Barnabas and from revelations 12 and recounts it to us in Corrinthians 2 12:1-4 that Jesus was saved and never died
as we quote

Nab: I must boast not that it is profitable but I will go onto visions and revelations of the Lord.

I know someone in Christ who 14 years ago whether in the body or out of the body I do not know , God knows was caught up to the third heavan
And I know that this person whether in the body or out of the body I do not know God knows was caught up into parsdise and heard ineffable things which no one may utter.

This statement that we just covered in acts 13:41 my brothers and sisters as funny as it sounds is tragic


Going by Pauls remark ;
To be quite frank I don’t think that this cunning fox even thought that the people were going to believe him; for he knew what he was preaching was obvious deceit!

However noone on this entire planet in their right frame of mind who has taken the serious time to study his or her bible
And to analyse it like we have humbly done would have ever believed all this deceit as well


He deserves an oscar for historys best deceiver because he certainly and I am sure to his shock surprise

has billions of past and present followers who are tragically still heavily embedded spiritually in his deceit






And the deceit continues
Acts 13:43
Barnabas pauls imaginery shadow Is again implicated in the deceit

Note verse 48: when the Gentiles heard this they were glad and praised the Lords message and those who had been chosen for eternal life became believers

The same Gentiles that Peter and John accused in acts 4:27-30 for conspiring against Jesus and them.

Here we have paul impersonating Jesus preaching his deceit as eternal life when in reality it is eternal hell.

And once again invisible Barnabas is implicated in the deceit once again in verses 51-52

as in acts 14:1

And acts 14:8-10


acts 15:7-11
more deceit is planted into the words of Peter in relation to Gods law

where he is framed into accepting the Gentiles as believers and is made to make God look like a liar too by defending their uncircumscion .

as mentioned earlier;

what is becoming more and more apparent here; is that invisible Peter

is being used as a platform for the future Roman Empire.that worships its father the devil



And once again acts in 15:12 we have Barnabas and James framed into pauls plans of deceit.

Which is aimed at accepting the Gentiles and in verses 13-19.





Acts 15:20
Scan and read
We find invisible James defending the law of Moses and speaking about ritually unclean food


When back in acts 10:15 we had Peter implicated in the deceit of making God look like a liar by considering everything clean

How ironic!

Acts 15:22 all the premeditated previous deceit about accepting the Gentiles comes to fruition here in a heading

The letter to the gentile believers

Of which the invisible Barnabas is implicated again in verses 25&26 into the evil schemes of paul

What is sad they also implicate the Holy Spirit;into their deceit;

by not forcing the Gentiles to be circumscised. And in verse 27 false teachers are sent with the group.



Acts 15:36
We have the hilarious heading
Paul and Barnabas separate

When they were never together in the first place as we well know from acts 5:13

In another obvious sign of deceit ;
one cannot help but notice that there is very little mention of the acts of the original disciples
How bizzare!

As we will now begin to witness my brothers and sisters

the complete dominance of the acts by Paul and his antichrist that proceed to heavily pollute the writings .and the sayngs

Acts 16:1 read


Paul recruits another false teacher in Timothy who is later to occupy two of the letters of the apostles and is also destined for sainthood with the Antichrist church





Acts 16:4
As they went through the towns they delivered to the believers
the rules decicded upon by the disciples and elders in jerasulem and told them to obey those rules

It is clear by now that these evil rules that are to be obeyed by the believers have no doubt come from the high priests and herod himself
Reminding us of the clear warnings of Jesus back in Mark 8;15

Where he stated

Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of herrod

acts 16:25-31 -33scan and read

verse 25
these hyms the Antichrist were singing were blaspheming the name of god.

we can see another miracle by the false messiah who perfoms a miracle for paul and silas a false prophet
ultimately achieving the required results
in verse 33 where it alludes to the reader that the jailer and his family was baptised into the detrimental belief that Jesus is Lord.

One cannot help but notice the obvious collaboration between paul and the romans

In verse 35 &36 we have the roman authourities releasing both silas and paul
Telling them you may leave then and go in peace

when poor James was sent to his death by sword by the same authourities back in acts 12:2

how ironic!




And what is more ironic is the next verse of acts 16:37
Paul and silas declare they are Roman citizens.

And what is even more ironic than this ; is later in acts 23:6 whe have paul
Confessing
,” I am a Pharisee the son of a Pharisee.

So how is it;
that the Catholic Church has made Paul a christian saint when he is not even a Christian and furthermore it was the Pharisees in collaboration with the Romans that supposedly killed Jesus and executed the apostles and the true believers of God
How tragic?





And the deceit continues

Acts 17:2-3
Paul now is mixing the grain with the weed in order to deceive the people by preaching
Jesus is the messiah who had to suffer and rise from death




Acts 17:7 paul and silas in collaboration with the romans have been accused of breaking the law of the emperor saying that there is another king whose name is Jesus

When we know too well that the Pharisees and romans put a creed out that anyone who does not call Jesus God or son of God will suffer death. As covered earlier in john 9:22 and chapter 210 of gospel of Barnabas

In acts 17:11




In acts 17:18-19 proof some people did not believe paul
By them commenting that paul is advocating new Gods and new teachings.

And in verse 20
Where they call them strange ideas.


Acts 18:2 more false teachers in aquilla and Claudia heading for Antichrist sainthood.


Acts 18:5&6
here paul in a premeditated plan of deceit
alludes to the reader that he was rejected by the Macedonians for preaching that Jesus is the Messiah

when in fact he was preaching the very opposite; that is why they opposed him and said evil things about him.

What is ironic here is that he accuses them of being lost for rejecting his deceit ; when sadly he is responsible for causing billions of Christian souls;
to be lost in the deepest darkness for believing the same deceit

And in acts 18:7 we have paul going to another false teacher in titus who later aquires a spot in the letters of the apostles and is made a saint by the Antichrist church

And in acts 18:8 we have paul baptise another saint of the false church in crispus in to the belief of Jesus is lord

As further proof that paul did not preach Jesus as the messiah in acts 18:5

Now we have paul the murderer with innocent blood on his hands turned into a Messiah baptising 12 disciples of his own with the holy spirit and wait for it

They began to speak in strange tongues

How strange indeed!

Acts10:48 scan so he ordered them to be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ.

Paul now raises the dead

Acts 20:21 check this out
Paul says

to Jews and Gentiles alike I gave solemn warnings that they should turn from their sins to God and believe in our Lord Jesus

Here we have a fox who has made Jews and Gentiles alike when in genesis 17:14
God makes it clear any uncircumscised male will be cut off from the people

He goes on to tell them to turn from their sins
when he drips in sin himself
and more tragically he ensures they are condemned to eternal hell for blasphemy by calling Jesus Lord

what a great saint!



Acts 20:24

But I reckon my own life to be worth nothing to me I only want to complete my mission and finish the work that the lord jesus ( more blasphemy)

Acts 20:25 I have gone about among all of you preaching the kingdom of God
In reality by making people worship Jesus he is preaching is the kingdom of the devil his father.



And again he mentions Lord Jesus in acts 20:35

Notice how the false prophet prophesises that paul is going to be handed over to the Gentiles

as if to allude to the reader he is going to be executed
When in reality paul is in obvious collaboration with the Gentiles as we have seen on more than one occasion to deceive the people

And we discover more acting talent in

Acts 21:13

Where in reply to acts 21:10-12
we have the false prophet agabus who foretells the deceit that paul is to be handed over to the Gentiles in Jerasulem in attempt to allude to the reader they are his enemies and that he was to be executed when in reality they were his accomplices

We find pauls reply to his companions in verse 12:
who are supposedly in despair when in reality they are ecstatic
warning him not to go to Jerasulem


And Paul answers them
“ what are you doing crying like this and breaking my heart I am ready not only to be tied up in Jerasulem but even to die there for the sake of our lord Jesus”





what is ironic apart from the fact that paul is referring to his Lord Jesus the devil
is that when he is faced with danger such as in acts 22:25
where he is about to be whipped he desperately screams out to the roman officer
“ is it lawful to whip a roman citizen”
in order to escape punishment

and when faced with another similar situation in acts 23:2 after he got smacked in 23:2 under orders of Annais the high priest
we find paul the brave man willing to die for his Lord Jesus desperately declaring he is a son of a Pharisee once he realised there was a group of them amongst the council what a brave man indeed!




And the deceit continues


Acts 21:21&28

More Proof of what paul the Antichrist really taught.


Acts 21:31&32

More proof paul was in collaboration with the romans
as they send 200 troops to protect him.
Where were the soldiers to protect James before he was executed?





And the deceit continues

Acts 22:25
But when they had tied him up to be whipped paul said to the officer standing there

“Is it lawful for you to whip a roman citizen who hasn’t even been tried for any crime”

Once again we find paul the cunning fox who is clearly in collaboration with both the Pharisees and romans

Getting another free get out of jail card……….. And with one of his infamous passwords that he is a roman citizen




And in another fabricated courtcase
We find him in acts 23:6 and after one smack

Using another free get out of jail card and this time with another infamous password

That he is a son of a Pharisee

In fact I am beginning to seriously believe that these 3 antichrists did in fact invent the game of monopoly



What a brave disciple who is willing to die for his Lord and gospel

In fact bullshit paul can be likened to a serpent that changes its color to suit each environment!

And he can also be likened to the roadrunner in the cartoons…………. you can never catch him!


What great entertaintment for those like us who can see through his deceit

And what a dire tragedy for those that cannot!

And the deceit continues


Acts 23:9-10

And acts 23:23&24

To no ones surprise paul is whisked away to be protected by the romans when the real disciples and true believers of God were hunted down by the sword .

We also find both felix and Claudius later added to the falsehood of the christian saints that are sworn through ceasar

Acts 24:
Another fabricated court case intended to deceive the reader

The most important clue of the acts 24 is found in verse 5 where it is the Romans themselves that supply us with the name of the true followers of Christ that we already pointed out to you in part 1

In a premeditated aim to deceive the reader they charge paul with being the leader of the nazarines
And unlike Stephan who was stoned to death and James who was executed by sword along with thousands of innocent Nazarines we miraculously find paul

still alive.

and allowed to continue with his deceit that preaches the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of herod as Jesus predicted back in mark 8:15

and sure enough in

Acts 26:5 paul confesses again to being a pharisee
“They have always known if they are willing to testify that from the very first I have lived as a member of the strictest party of our religion the Pharisees.”

Acts 26:9-11

This is the true mission of paul which he admits to

the only difference is; his deceitful story of him repenting;

is a malicious attempt to deceive the reader that he is a conformed man when in reality he has continued to persecute those innocent souls both physically and spiritually.


And in another fabricated hearing intended to deceive the reader we find paul appearing before his collaboraters agripa 11 festus and Bernice who also later become saints of the church.
We notice the obvious collaboration between paul and the romans in acts 26:24

When in reply to the elaborate stories of pauls deceit
festus shouts at paul in an obvious collaborative manner

and says

You are mad Paul your great learning is driving you mad


And what is more cruciating for the Christians is that this Antichrist Festus who was procurator of Judea under Agrippa 11 was an accomplice to the murder of the disciples and thousands of Nazarines

And to our surprise is rewarded with sainthood and a portrait in a stain glassed window in st pauls cathedral melb.

And to add to this evil admiration by his accomplices we find in acts 26:28
Agrippa 11 expressing his satisfaction with paul by sarcastically commenting

In this short time do you think you will make me a christian
Exposing the deceit of the false charge that paul was accused of being the leader of the Nazarines back in acts 24:5

For if paul was a true Nazarine Agrippa would have executed him by sword in the same way James died or he would have fed him to the lions not to mention he would have burned him and used him for lighting as was the fate of many Nazarines.

But because paul was preaching the evil doctrine of Christianity that pleased his accomplices

We find both agrripa and fontus who are later to be idolised with Paul by the catholic church
Clearing him of any charge

Where they say in acts 26:32 read

And granting him yet another free get out of jail card

In acts 27:1 &3
We find paul handed over to Julius an officer of the emperors regiment (Nero Ceasars Regiment) who safeguards his journey to freedom.

And Who also not surprisingly ;

is later sworn through ceasar to be a saint and pope by the catholic church for his efforts.

Acts 27:34-38 read

in this next text we find Paul impersonating the Messiah performoing miracles of bread to feed 276 people
what an insult to God and to Jesus!

Acts 27:42-43
The soldiers made plans to kill the prisoners in order to keep them from swimming ashore and escaping. But the army officer wanted to save Paul.

Why didn’t the army officer save James and the other diciples from execution.

Another clear proof paul was an accomplice of the romans and Pharisees.

Acts 28:4-6
Here we have

More miracles of deceit that Jesus warned about in mark 13:21-22




The natives saw the snake hanging on pauls hand and said to one another this man must be a murderer but fate will not let him live even though he escaped from the sea.

But paul shook the snake off into the fire without being harmed at all they were waiting for him to swell up or suddenly fall down dead but after waiting for a long time and not seeing anything unusual happening to him they changed their minds and said he is God



And again in acts 28:7-10 scan and read

Not far from that place was some land that belonged to publius the chief of the island.

He welcomed us kindly and for 3 days we were his guests

publius father was in bed sick with fever and dysentery paul went into his room prayed
placed his hands on him and healed him.
When this happened all the other sick people on the island came and were healed.

What is ironic Publius is later ordained through paul who swore him through ceasar as a saint of Malta for accepting the heresies of the christian faith

When we arrived in Rome paul was allowed to live by himself with a soldier guarding him.

This blood thirsty devil who was responsible for the execution of the disciples and thousands of innocent Nazarines

and paul concluded
“you are to know then that Gods message of salvation has been sent to the Gentiles they will listen.”

For 2 years paul lived in a place rented for himself and there he welcomed all who came to see him.he preached about the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ speaking with all boldness and freedom.

This along with all the free get out of jail cards that Paul received;

Lays to serious waste any claim by the catholic church or the corrupt historians and scholars that Paul was executed by the Romans




I want to take you back a bit to

acts 22:6-16 where we find Paul retelling his conversion

what you are about to hear and see is going to blow your minds away!


In verse 14 we find a man named Ananias prophecising about paul and stating

“ the God of his anscestors has chosen paul to know his will

To see his righteous servant and to hear him speaking with his own voice”




When we compare with the same text in Acts 9:17

“ the Lord has sent me Jesus himself
Who appeared to you on the road “

there is clearly no mention of Lord in acts 22 14 . nor any mention of "his righteous servant "
in
acts 9:17

and it gets better
in acts 26 :12-18
When paul recounts his conversion again



When we compare with acts 9;7-17

There is no mention of his blindness for 3 days ....nor any mention of Annais or his false vision.... and we find bullshit paul has added his own spices to the story

in acts 26:16-18


And tragically the Christians religiously call this scripture

What is more ironic than that

in fact more like devasting and disturbing and brings to fruition all the prior warnings of

God in jeremiah 14:14 Jesus in mark 13:5-6 and Mark 13:21-22 along with the warnings of peter in peter 2 2 :1-3
Not to mention Surah 7:16&17 and chapter 73 of Barnabas


is that this high priest Ananias who is a clear accomplice of paul in the fabricated court case of acts 23 who ordered the smack on pauls mouth in 23:2

same high priest who deceived the people by appearing as a disguised believer who had a false vision in acts 9:10 -17
is the same high priest who prohecised in acts 9:15 that God chose paul to serve him and make his name known to the gentiles.

It is this same chronicle liar annais the high priest that paul came to in acts 9:1 to get letters of introduction to the synagogues so he could arrest and execute the innocent Nazarines that followed Christ

It is this same high priest that was pleased when herrod had James killed by the sword and was pleased when Peter was arrested.

And what is tragically more disturbing

than this my brothers and sisters is

That.... this same high priest was the father in law of Caiaphas the high priest at the time when Jesus
was first supposedly
arrested back in John18:12-13

And it was this same high priest who supposedly interrogated Jesus back

in John 18:19-24

And what is more disturbing and despairing than all of this put together and drives a deep dagger through my heart as a former Christian

Apart from the fact that these 2 devils One of whom Is a son of a Pharisee and the other a high priest teaming up in a double act of deceit

To successfully deceive the Christians and the world that paul was chosen by God to preach to the Gentiles



Is the tragic fact

That this murderous blood thirsty devil who supposedly helped crucify Jesus the leader
of the Christians their God


Was and to my sheer shock and despair

made a saint by the catholic church itself to be worshipped and prayed to by the poor souls like our mothers and sisters that were and continue to be lost in the deepest darkness hence earning the wrath of God generation after generation as we have just covered in exoxdus 20;3-7

If we were to compare the enormity of this tragic situation ...to our modern day ....it would be like giving Hitler sainthood for all the atrocities he had committed

And he appears here in a portrait with his accomplice Paul in the deceit of acts 9:17-19

Cornelius whose feast day is September 16th. A Roman priest, Cornelius was elected Pope to succeed Fabian in an election delayed fourteen months by Decius' persecutionof the Christians. The main issue of his pontificate was the treatment to be accorded Christians who had been apostasized during the persecution. He condemned thoseconfessors who were lax in not demanding penance of these Christians and supported St. Cyprian, Bishop of Carthage, against Novatus and his dupe, Felicissimus, whom he had set up as an antibishop to Cyprian, when Novatus came to Rome. On the other hand, he also denounced the Rigorists, headed by Novatian, a Roman priest, who declared that the Church could not pardon the lapsi (the lapsed Christians), and declared himself Pope - the first antipope. The two extremes eventually joined forces, and the Novatian movement had quite a vogue in the East. Meanwhile, Cornelius proclaimed that the Church had the authority and the power to forgive repentant lapsi and could readmit them to thesacraments and the Church after they had performed proper penances. A synod of Western bishops in Rome in October 251 upheld Cornelius, condemned the teachings of Novatian, and excommunicated him and his followers. When persecutions of the Christians started up again in 253 under Emperor Gallus, Cornelius was exiled to Centum Cellae (Civita Vecchia), where he died a martyr probably of hardships he was forced to endure.

Priscilla /prɨˈsɪlə/ and Aquila /ˈækwɨlə/ were a first century Christian missionarymarried couple described in the New Testament and traditionally listed among the Seventy Disciples. They lived, worked, and traveled with the Apostle Paul, who described them as his "fellow workers in Christ Jesus".[Rom. 16:3 NASB][1]Priscilla and Aquila are described in the New Testament as providing a presence that strengthened the early Christian churches. Paul was generous in his recognition and acknowledgment of his indebtedness to them.[Rom. 16:3-4]Together, they are credited with instructing Apollos, a major evangelist of the first century, and "[explaining] to him the way of God more accurately".[Acts 18:26]While it is never stated, it has been conjectured, in light of her apparent prominence, that Priscilla held the office of teacher.[2] She is thought by some to be the anonymous author of the Epistle to the Hebrews.[3]

Erastus (Greek: Ἔραστος, Erastos), also known as Erastus of Paneas, is a person in the New Testament. According to the Epistle to the Romans, Erastus was a steward (Greek: οἰκονόμος, oikonomos) in Corinth, a political office of high civic status. The word is defined as "the manager of household or of household affairs" or, in this context, "treasurer";[1] The King James Versionuses the translation "chamberlain", while the New International Version uses "director of public works". A person named Erastus is also mentioned in the 2 Timothy and Acts, and these mentions are usually taken to refer to the same person.
According to the tradition of the Orthodox Church, Erastus is numbered among the Seventy Disciples. He served as a deacon and steward of the Church at Jerusalem and later of Paneas in Palestine. The Church remembers St. Erastus on January 4 among the Seventy, and on November 10

Tychicus

Tychicus (tik'-i-kus)[needs IPA], an Asiatic Christian who, with Trophimus, accompanied the Apostle Paul on a part of his journey from Macedonia to Jerusalem. He is also alluded to have been with Paul in Rome, where the apostle sent him to Ephesus, probably for the purpose of building up and encouraging the church there.[1] In the New Testament, he is mentioned five times (Acts 20:4; Ephesians 6:21; Colossians 4:7; Titus 3:12; 2 Timothy 4:12).[2]
Appearance in the Bible[edit]
(1) Acts 20:4 states that Tychicus was from the Roman province of Asia. The Western text indicates that he was anEphesian.
(2) In Ephesians 6:21, the author (traditionally identified as Paul) calls Tychicus a "dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord" (NIV),
(3) while in Colossians, he says he is "a dear brother, a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord."
In both Ephesians and Colossians, the author indicates that he is sending Tychicus to the Christians to whom he is writing, in order to encourage them.[2]
(4) The passages in the Epistle to Titus (Titus 3:12) and to Timothy show that Tychicus was again with Paul after the appeal to the emperor had resulted in the apostle regaining his freedom. The passage in Titus evidently refers to the interval between Paul's first and second Roman imprisonments, and while he was again engaged in missionary journeys. The apostle writes to Titus, who was in Crete in charge of the churches there, that he intended to send either Artemas or Tychicus to him, so as to take the oversight of the work of the gospel in that island so that Titus might be free to come to be with the apostle at Nicopolis.[1]

Little is known of Manahen's life. He is said to be one those who, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, laid hands uponSaul and Barnabas and sent the two apostles on the first of Paul's missionary journeys (Acts 13:1). Since St. Luke was an Antiochene, it is likely that Manahen was one of "the prophets and doctors" of the Church of Antioch, and was one of the "eyewitnesses and ministers of the word" (Luke 1:2) who delivered unto Luke the details which that sacred writer has in regard to Antipas and other members of the Herodian family (Luke 3:1, 19, 20; 8:3; 9:7-9; 13:31, 32; 23:8-12; Acts 12). He may have become a disciple of Jesus with "Joanna, the wife of Chusa, Herod's steward" (Luke 8:3).
Early historian references[edit]
In A.D. 39, Antipas left for Rome to gain the favor of Caligula, but instead received an order of perpetual exile. (Jos., "Ant.", XVIII, vii, 2). During this time, the Church of Antioch was founded by Jewish Christians, who "had been dispersed by the persecution that arose on the occasion of Stephen" and had taught the Gospel also to the Greeks of Antioch, (Acts 11:19-24). It is quite likely that St. Manahen was one of these founders of the Antiochene Church.

Life and works[edit]
A Roman by birth,[1] Felix was chosen as Pope on 5 January 269,[1] in succession to Pope Dionysius, who had died on 26 December 268.[1]
Felix was the author of an important dogmatic letter on the unity of Christ's Person. He received the emperor Aurelian's aid in settling a theological dispute between the anti-Trinitarian Paul of Samosata, who had been deprived of the bishopric Antioch by a council of bishops for heresy and the orthodox Domnus, Paul's successor.[2] Paul refused to give way, and in 272 the emperor Aurelian was asked to decide between the rivals. He ordered the church building to be given to the bishop who was "recognized by the bishops of Italy and of the city of Rome" (Felix). See Eusebius, Hist. Ecc. vii. 30.[3]
The text of that letter was later interpolated by a follower of Apollinaris in the interests of his sect.[4]

Porcius Festus was procurator of Judea from about AD 59 to 62, succeeding Antonius Felix. His exact time in office is not known. The earliest proposed date for the start of his term is c. A.D. 55-6, while the latest is A.D. 61.[1] These extremes have not gained much support and most scholars opt for a date between 58 to 60. F. F. Bruce says that, "The date of his [Felix's] recall and replacement by Porcius Festus is disputed, but a change in the provincial coinage of Judaea attested for Nero's fifth year points to A.D. 59"[2] Conybeare and Howson lay out an extended argument for the replacement taking place in A.D. 60.[3]
Festus inherited all of the problems of his predecessor in regard to the Roman practice of creating civic privileges for Jews. Only one other issue bedeviled his administration, the controversy between Agrippa II and thepriests in Jerusalem regarding the wall erected at the temple to break the view of the new wing of Agrippa's palace.

The woman of Jerusalem who is said to have been so moved by the suffering of Jesus as He carriedHis cross to Calvary that she rushed to wipe His face was actually named Bernice. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the 'Veronica' is a colloquial of the Latin word 'Vera' meaning 'truth' and Greek word 'Icon' meaning 'image. The name 'Veronica' --which most refer to as 'Saint Veronica'--actually pertains to the 'Veil of Veronica'. It is the veil which Bernice is said to have removed from her person and used to wipe the face of the suffering Jesus.
Although the Legend of St. Veronica is one of the most popular in Christian lore and the veil is one of the most beloved relics of the Catholic Church there is no record when or where St. Veronica was born.
According to Tradition, when St. Veronica (Bernice) saw Jesus fall beneath the weight of the cross He carried to his pending crucifixion, she was so moved with pity she pushed through the crowd past the Roman Soldiers to reach Jesus. She used her veil to wipe the blood and sweat from His face. The soldiers forced her away from Jesus even as He peered at her with gratitude. She bundled her veil and did not look at it again until she returned home. When she finally unfolded the veil--history does not clarify exactly what kind of material the veil was made from--it was imprinted with an image of Christ's face.

Some stories have alluded to St. Veronica being present at the beheading of St. John the Baptist. Others claim Veronica (Bernice) was a woman whom Jesus cured from a blood issue before His arrest in Jerusalem.
There is no reference to the biography of St. Veronica in the canonical Gospels. Her act of kindness and charity is represented in the Sixth of the Fourteen Stations of the Cross.
St. Veronica is believed to be buried in the tomb in Soulac or in the church of St. Seurin at Bordeaux, France. Her veil (the Veronica) is kept at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican at Rome.
The symbol of Saint Veronica is the veil bearing the face of Christ and the Crown of Thorns. Her feast day is July 12th.

First marriage[edit]
She was six years of age at the time of her father's death at Caesarea in 44. Her father had betrothed her to Gaius Julius Archelaus Antiochus Epiphanes, first son of King Antiochus IV of Commagene,[1] with a stipulation from her father that Epiphanes should embrace the Jewish religion.[2] The prince in the end refused to abide by his promise to do so, and the marriage had still not been contracted on her father's death. On Agrippa's death:
“ ...the inhabitants of Caesarea and of Sebaste forgot the kindnesses he had bestowed on them, and acted the part of the bitterest enemies; for they cast such reproaches upon the deceased as are not fit to be spoken of; and so many of them as were then soldiers, which were a great number, went to his house, and hastily carried off the statues of [Agrippa I]'s daughters, and all at once carried them into the brothels, and when they had set them on the brothel roofs, they abused them to the utmost of their power, and did such things to them as are too indecent to be related. They also laid themselves down in public places, and celebrated general feastings, with garlands on their heads, and with ointments and libations to Charon, and drinking to one another for joy that the king was expired, not only unmindful of Agrippa, who had extended his liberality to them in abundance, but also of his grandfather Herod the Great, who had himself rebuilt their cities, and had raised them havens and temples at vast expense.[3]

Once Drusilla's brother, Herod Agrippa II, had been assigned the tetrachy of Herod Philip I (along with Batanea, Trachonites and Abila) in around 49/50, he broke off her engagement to Epiphanes and gave her in marriage to Gaius Julius Azizus, Priest King of Emesa, who, in order to obtain her hand, consented to be circumcised.[2] Herod also at around this time married Mariamne to her betrothed, Gaius the prince of Commagene.
Felix[edit]
It appears that it was shortly after her first marriage was contracted that Antonius Felix, the Roman procurator of Judaea, met Drusilla, probably at her brother's court (Berenice, the elder sister, lived with her brother at this time, and thus Drusilla probably did too). Felix was struck by the great beauty of Drusilla, and determined to make her his (second) wife. In order to persuade her, a practising Jew, to divorce her Jewish husband and marry him, a pagan, he took the following steps:
“ While Felix was procurator of Judea, he saw this Drusilla, and fell in love with her; for she did indeed exceed all other women in beauty; and he sent to her a person whose name was Simon[4] (Note: in some manuscripts, Atomos), a Jewish friend of his, by birth a Cypriot, who pretended to be a magician. Simon endeavored to persuade her to forsake her present husband, and marry Felix; and promised, that if she would not refuse Felix, he would make her a happy woman. Accordingly she acted unwisely and, because she longed to avoid her sister Berenice's envy (for Drusilla was very ill-treated by Berenice because of Drusilla's beauty) was prevailed upon to transgress the laws of her forefathers, and to marry Felix.[5]

She was about twenty-two years of age when she appeared at Felix's side, during St. Paul's captivity at Caesarea - Acts24:24 reports her thus:
"Several days later Felix came [back into court] with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess."
Acts gives no further information on her subsequent life, though Josephus states that they had a son named Marcus Antonius Agrippa and a daughter Antonia Clementiana. Their son perished together with his mother Drusilla, along with noted Roman historian Pliny the Elder plus most of the populations of Pompeii and Herculaneum in the AD 79 eruption of Mount Vesuvius.[6] For further information about the family of Felix and Drusilla, see Antonius Felix.

Early Life And Origin[edit]
Claudius' origin is Illyrian.[3] Born on May 10, 213,[2] he was either fromSirmium in Pannonia Inferior or from Naissus Dardania (in Moesia Superior).[4]
Military Career and rise to power[edit]
Claudius had served with the Roman army for all his adult life, making his way up the military hierarchy until the Emperor Gallienus made him the commander of his elite cavalry force (hipparchos)[5] and subsequently his military deputy.[6] In September 268 he found himself assigned as a military tribune[7] with the Imperial Army besieging the usurper Aureolus inMilan.[8] His troops then proclaimed him Emperor[2] amid charges, never proven, that he murdered his predecessor Gallienus.[4] However, he soon proved to be less than bloodthirsty, as he asked the Roman Senate to spare the lives of Gallienus' family and supporters. Early Life And Origin[edit]
Claudius' origin is Illyrian.[3] Born on May 10, 213,[2] he was either fromSirmium in Pannonia Inferior or from Naissus Dardania (in Moesia Superior).[4]
Military Career and rise to power[edit]
Claudius had served with the Roman army for all his adult life, making his way up the military hierarchy until the Emperor Gallienus made him the commander of his elite cavalry force (hipparchos)[5] and subsequently his military deputy.[6] In September 268 he found himself assigned as a military tribune[7] with the Imperial Army besieging the usurper Aureolus inMilan.[8] His troops then proclaimed him Emperor[2] amid charges, never proven, that he murdered his predecessor Gallienus.[4] However, he soon proved to be less than bloodthirsty, as he asked the Roman Senate to spare the lives of Gallienus' family and supporters. He was less magnanimous toward Rome's enemies, however, and it was to this that he owed his popularity.[9]

Biblical narrative[edit]
Little is known of Manahen's life. He is said to be one those who, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, laid hands uponSaul and Barnabas and sent the two apostles on the first of Paul's missionary journeys (Acts 13:1). Since St. Luke was an Antiochene, it is likely that Manahen was one of "the prophets and doctors" of the Church of Antioch, and was one of the "eyewitnesses and ministers of the word" (Luke 1:2) who delivered unto Luke the details which that sacred writer has in regard to Antipas and other members of the Herodian family (Luke 3:1, 19, 20; 8:3; 9:7-9; 13:31, 32; 23:8-12; Acts 12). He may have become a disciple of Jesus with "Joanna, the wife of Chusa, Herod's steward" (Luke 8:3).
Early historian references[edit]
In A.D. 39, Antipas left for Rome to gain the favor of Caligula, but instead received an order of perpetual exile. (Jos., "Ant.", XVIII, vii, 2). During this time, the Church of Antioch was founded by Jewish Christians, who "had been dispersed by the persecution that arose on the occasion of Stephen" and had taught the Gospel also to the Greeks of Antioch, (Acts 11:19-24). It is quite likely that St. Manahen was one of these founders of the Antiochene Church.
Veneration[edit]
His feast day is celebrated on May 23[2] in the Orthodox Church and on May 24[3] in the Roman Catholic Church.
