RE: Website Revamp
Looks like I am a little late to this party. I can't believe how good the submitted photos are. Anthony and Maria, you both really look like mature-aged models. Have you considered doing catalogue work? I can't believe how much effort you put into getting ready for that photo. My photo doesn't compare to yours, but I like it because it shows not just me but also some of my bible study group members.

Anyway, after consultation with my bible study group, I have decided to put out the following testimony;

When I joined this church, I was very confused as to who was telling me the truth. My old church that I grew up with had never spoken about the controversial topics that this church has revealed to me in the fantastic videos that they have put out. Thank you for saving me, and saving my bible study group that I have put together here in Canada. This photo is a few years old, showing me and my wife Claire, with the first 4 people of our group. I am the one holding The New American Bible in my hands, and Claire is next to me holding her glass of water. Our group now numbers 12. God bless us all.

RE: Website Revamp
I've been changing my statement so much, I don't think I can get it better than the following:
Being raised in a household that followed Judaism, I originally came to this church to find out what their agenda really was. Honestly, I was expecting to find a bunch of antisemitic people preaching the wrong things. Instead, I found some very honest biblical information that also included things found in the Torah. Their analysis and dissection of the material was so thorough and unbiased. That's when I knew had to join them. My life has been so much more positive since that decision. Thank you to everyone here for being part of my spiritual life.

RE: Website Revamp
Hey all, thanks for the wonderful response you all have given us. We really appreciate your testimonies and input.

I just have a question to ask Eric and David. Since you have decided not to submit a picture (and that's ok by us), I wanted to know if you would mind if I insert a generic photo of a person that is not showing his face? An example of such photo is included with this message so you know what I am talking about. I will also specify on the website that the photo is not of the person, but just a generic image. But first I would like your permission to do this.

The reason I want to do this is because the way I'm designing the new website makes it very hard to combine testimonies with photos, along with testimonies without photos. I need to put some photo in there to make it align and look good and all that. Thank you for your understanding.

Yeah, I don't have a problem if you want to use a generic image under my name. Believe me, it will look a lot better than my real picture Smile

I give my consent for the use of a generic image under my testimonial entry. Thank you for letting me give something back to this church. God bless everyone here.

RE: Website Revamp
Ok guys, the new website has finally gone live. It might still need a few minor tweaks here & there. If anyone finds something wrong, such as a broken link or something not behaving as it should, please let me know. But for the most part, everything seems to be displaying correctly and functioning as it should.

RE: Website Revamp
WOW! I came to visit the website once again, expecting to see the old website, but to my delight the new website greeted my eyes! I love the generic image you used to represent me. The head doesn't even show at all...perfect! That person even looks like the same body shape as me! So uncanny, but in a nice way.

It was interesting seeing all the other testimonies, not just my own. Nice touch they did with that testimony submission form they included, inviting more people to submit testimonies. That looked really cool, so much better than submitting a testimony from this message thread.

If this was a meal, I would ask you to give my compliments to the chef. So instead...give my compliments to your website design team. They really made a stunning website worthy of this fine church. So much better than the old one, by miles.
