The Book of Enoch This is an ancient Jewish religious work, ascribed by tradition to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah, and seventh from Adam himself. Ten fragments of The Book of Enoch have been found at Qumran in the Dead Sea Scrolls, it is known to have existed in its present form since at least the 2nd Century BC. The Bible itself mentions this book in Jude 1:14-15 “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, "Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousand of his saints, to execute judgment upon all".
